Currently, Friends of Pack and Troop 253, Inc. is working to obtain the following:
Camping equipment for the both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in Pack and Troop 253
Secure funding to provide camper-ships and make monthly camping accessible to all scouts in the Pack and Troop
Enable quality outdoor experiences through city resources and opportunities available to non-profit groups
In 2016, we were able to support the first international trip for Troop 253.
Troop 253 was able to take 21 scouts to Niagara Falls and Toronto in Canada. Thanks to fundraising efforts, the trip was subsidized substantially making it affordable to the scouts in the Troop.
